This comprehensive set of posters illustrates key concepts in the study of ecology and the environment. The “Eco-Spheres” posters examine Earth's major systems and the continuous interactions among them. Five systems, or “spheres,” are presented: Biosphere (living things), Geosphere (land), Hydrosphere (water), Atmosphere (air), and Anthrosphere (humans and their creations). Photographs, diagrams, and text describe important features and relationships.
Each sphere is examined through a set of three posters: one describing the sphere itself and its interactions with other spheres, and two taking a closer look at the sphere's unique processes and characteristics.
The series includes the following 15 posters: Geosphere: Rock Cycle; Plate Tectonics; Anthrosphere; Pollution; Population; Biosphere; Interdependence; Adaptations & Biodiversity; Atmosphere; Oxygen Cycle; Weather & Climate; Hydrosphere; Water Cycle; Water Environments. Each posters is also available individually. (See individual posters and ordering information below.)
